If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed I recently made a HUGE order with E.L.F. Cosmetics.
Subscriptions are all the rage right now. The prospect of getting a box of random yet themed “stuff” in the mail every month has the minimalist in me shooketh. However, I’m okay with getting on board with simple subscriptions that will send me specifically what I need.
Minimalism has done wonders for my anxiety. I’m truly happier and more content than I have ever been and it feels so damn good to say that because it’s been a very long road. I have removed both physical and mental clutter from my life, resulting in a calm that I have desperately craved — for as long as I can remember! Charcoal peel-off masks are hot right now. Unfortunately, they also aren’t getting the best reviews. Chances are you’ve seen at least one video floating around Facebook or YouTube of some unsuspecting person trying to peel one of these bad boys of their face, but having a less than stellar experience. One thing I noticed, though, was all of these masks came from questionable companies overseas. I found one that’s made by the Shoppers Drugmart Life brand right here in North America, so I thought I would try it out and see how it compares.

We hear about the normal side effects and challenges of kicking a nicotine addiction like being a bit irritated or how we just need to keep our hands busy. I’m telling you right now, though, there are some weird side effects of quitting smoking that I was not prepped for.
